MY BLOGGING EXPERIENCE

Hi everybody, today I am going to talking about My Blogging Experience

The truth is that my experience writing blogs in English is very good, very positive, as I believe that this activity has helped me to develop writing skills has allowed me to increase my vocabulary in English and also helps me to express different things of my life and also to read and comment on blogs of my colleagues I was able to learn more about different aspects of my classmates for example the place you would like to travel, about their favorite food, their pets, their holidays, their favorite subject of This semester etc…

This is the last level of English, I really hope to pass the written test and the oral test, in the future I would like to take a course of English in Trowell institute or something, I like to speak English very fluently and well to improve myself, because in the area of dentistry we need to know English

This is the last blog I would also like to thank Professor Claudia for all they taught us in those 2 semesters and understanding in difficult situations, I would also like to thank my classmates for companionship!!!

Post 9 (week 13) "My favorite Subject this Semester"

Hello everybody today I am going to talking about my favorite subject!!!

My favorite subject is Simulation, I love this subject  in this course there are many teachers, but my teachers are:

Monday: Josefa retamales

tuesday: Paulina Marín

Wednesday: Sylvia Osorio

This is the best subject for me because I love the hand work and because I can develop all the skills necessary for my  future professional practice.

I love this subject because I learned many things for example taking impressions, perform endodontic treatment, perform biological preparations for prostheses and many other clinical actions.

Also I really enjoy this subject, because We work In groups of 10 people at a desk with our sympathetic teachers , In my desk  the most important is that all get along really well, we help always we can, we borrow dental materials and also I always hear music when we are working.

The truth is that this subject is very stressful,  sometimes  our position of work causes neck and back problems, and we have to study hard, but I love the dental practice, and I think that the effort brings rewards in the future.

I am finish this semester, and I am very happy, because  I feel that I learned many new things about odontology, and I got good marks in my subjects, also I am very happy for the good relation with my classmates, my expectations for the next year subjects are very high I hope the classes are very good and I hope to learn much more!!!

How Green Are You?

Hi everybody,   today I am going to talking about environment!

This topic like me because I really love the nature!

The truth is that,  I think there are very few spaces and opportunities to learn about caring for the environment, but I think it is very positive use of social networking sites like you tube channel and its various videos made for people to access information and learn how to contribute to care for the environment, here in Chile's environment ministry is making good policy for people learn about environmentally friendly practices.

About a year ago in my commune incorporate recycling system, we recycle everything we can and twice a week passes recycling truck, so we contribute to environmental protection.

I must confess I don’t use green transportation like a bicycles, but I would like to use in the future.

As I said before I love nature, and I like to take care of, but I haven’t joined any eco-organization because I don’t have much free time, but I always wanted to be an active part of Greenpeace Chile, I think this environmental organization does things very beneficial for the care of the environment and I would really like to be part of it.

To reduce my carbon footprint I have my own ecological bag to go shopping, so I don’t use other plastic bags that harm the environment, I am also practicing recycling with my family and neighbors.

In our society, not just locally in Santiago, globally, is very important to be aware to the  take care of the environment.

MY FUTURE JOB

Hi everybody, today I am going to talking about my future job!!!

The truth is that I always imagine my future job, I would like to be a great dentist in a few years more.

I imagine that my future job will be very tiring and difficult, but these don’t care me because I love my future profession, and I think that with effort and dedication all is possible.

In my future job, I would like to travel to many rural places to help to unprotected people, and I would like to live and work at the southern of Chile.

I imagine myself helping to the children, because I would like to taking a major of pediatric dentistry, I want to be a pediatric dentist because in my opinion giving their smile back is priceless, The smiles of the children says it all for me!!!

I imagine myself working at a dental box; I would like to teach the prevention and promotion of health, to all my patients, I would like to educate all children through workshops for parents and children in a very entertaining form, because I think that we can have a healthier and happier world!!! Also I would like to work teaching at the University of Chile, because I would like to return all that university has given me.

What do you think about compulsive spenders?
Our opinion is that the compulsive spenders need psychotherapy because their conduct is a bad life style. It causes a lot of problems, for example enormous financial loss that impacts in their families or friends and in their own emocional state.

What's the most common problem that Dentists face along their career?
Our opinion is that the most common problems that the dentists face along their career are tendonitis and the muscular and spinal pain because they (and we) have to work in difficult positions for the body for a long time. Dentists should attend frequently to the kinesthesiologist to treat their condition.

SUMMER!!!

Hi friends, today I am going to talking about summer!!!

In this summer I have many plans, when the academic year is over I want to work at the shopping center through the Christmas season, to save money so they can buy Christmas presents for my family and also to travel on my summer holiday.

In my summer’s holiday I am going to go to Pichilemu beach, with my boyfriends and 6 friend more, we travel during two weeks and we thinking do many activities, for example trekking, bicycling, horseback riding on the beach, I would like to swimming very much, and we thinking dance till dawn in Waitara discotheque, because this is the best hahaha!

We also plan to surf, but this outdoor activity really scares me, because I've never surfed :S

In my summer’s holiday I also travel to Concepcion, with my parents, my aunts, uncles and all my cousins, because my grandparents live there. We thinking do many family activities such as going to the river, eating a delicious roast, cook together, watch movies and fishing.

I'll be in conception for 2 weeks

Apart from all these activities I also like to do a computer course, I would like to learn a bit more about the different programs microsoft, because the truth is that I know very little about the use and management of these programs are much needed in the area of research in dentistry

PET PRACTICE

Hi everybody, today I don’t write a traditional blog, because today I am going to talking about my experience in the   English plataform.

Of the three skills: Reading, listening and vocabulary, the listening was more challenging for me, this task always was the most difficult for me, because I don’t have developed  my listening skills, this task is really hard for me.

The easiest taks for me, was the reading  because I mastered the vocabulary of this activity.

My favorite Food

Hi Everybody today I am going to talk about my favorite food!!!

The truth is that I really love this topic hahah, I love eat!  I have more than one favorite food,  The “Humitas” is my favorite Chilean food , this food  reminds me  of my  grandmother, because she prepared me this plate, when I was a child.

I love the taste of corn and basil, I also enjoy its soft texture, I love accompany this meal with a delicious salad of tomatoes, I don’t like “humitas” with sugar: S

I usually eat  “humitas” in the summer, most of the time we met with all my family in my house and  we cook many humitas .

I know how to cook the “humitas”, the truth is that it is a tedious work, but it isn’t difficult for me, because I love cooking, particularly chilean food.

Another of my favorite meals is the sushi, I love Sushi, this food is really delicious,  I am delighted with  the fusion of flavors, also I love all of its ingredients:  the salmon fish, shrimp, the nori , avocado and the most important the rize!

I usually eat sushi in meetings with friends, because all my friends really like sushi, so we buy a lot sushi at each meeting, We always eat at a restaurant called aki rolls, located near of my house.

I don’t know how to cook sushi, but I would like to learn in the future.

PET Practice

Hi everybody, today I am goint to reflect about my experience on the plataform:

In reading comprehension activity (PET 1) made in one activity, it wasn’t very difficult for me, but, it was hard to associate some meaning, because my English vocabulary is not extensive.

In the PET activity 2, it was hard to associate all requirements of each person, with courses that were presented, I think I should be faster!!! L.

The truth is that among the 10 places presented, my favorite is Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Peru, but I talked of this place on the post “My dream place”, so I decided to choose another one of my favorite places and this is Uttar Pradesh, India Taj Mahal because in my opinion is one of the most beautiful monuments in the world and I love Indian culture, the history that surrounds this monument is a story of love, I would like to visit India in the future.

I think that learning other languages is very important and useful for life, because communicating is a great virtue, English is very important for me to study dentistry because I have to read much evidence and articles are often published in English.

I would like to learn about to dental health to expand my English vocabulary

Post 4 >> (week 6) Themed Post 2 " Pets "

Hi everybody, today I am going to talk about pets!

At the present time I have a pet, It is a hámster and its name is Cheese jijijij, it’s  very  tender and loving!, choose the name of my pet was very difficult, because I had many names in my mind, but finally I choose Cheese because I love the cheese hahhaha!

I have this pet since last week, Cheese is very beautifull, its color is White, What I like about my pet  are its cute little feet , because  these are really tender, also I like see my  pet eat its sunflower seedes.

In the future I would like have another pet like a dog, because I never have a dog L, also I would  like have a exotic pet like a ferret because in my opinion  are lovely rodents.

Pets are that I like dogs because they are very friendly and affectionate with humans, but I never could have one because my parents do not like dogs.

In my opinion having exotic pets such as snakes and iguanas should be fun, but I'd be afraid to take care of these pets and honestly do not know how to feed a snake.

My favorite Sport: Swimming

Hi everybody, today I am going to talk about my favorite sport, this is the swimming, I really love this sport because  it make me feel free, relaxed and very happy, I think that the water is best, this purifies the body!!!

I practiced this sport in the past, I  began to practice swimming when I was 5 years old, I attended swimming classes all saturdays at 9 o'clock, I took classes with my cousins Juan Carlos, Catalina and Nicolas,  in the sport center "Club Recrear" took swimming classes was an unforgettable experience, was very entertaining, through this sport I met many people,  and I made many friends.

 I left to practice this sport when I was 15 years old, because I moved away from home and the sport center was really far from my new home.

Currently I don't practice swimming, because I study odontology hahahha and I don't have much free time to practice some sport, but sometimes in my holidays I  try to practice swimming because this continues to be my favorite sport.

My favorite holidays!!!

Hello everybody!!!

Today I am going to talk about "The best holiday"
 My best holidays were my summer holidays 2014, although these weren’t so far from Santiago were excellent because I traveled with my friends Paola, Sole, Rocio and Sabrina to Viña del Mar, a place that we love so much,  our vacation lasted a week, we left after we finished school in January 2014 .

This holidays were really amazing as the days were very beautiful, very sunny, every day we went to the beach, we took a sunbaths and we swam in the sea, touring craft fairs where we bought many souvenirs, all day we cooked a delicious lunchs, sometimes we went to eat at Mc donals hahahha because we love their burgers and the ice cream, the weekend went on a bar in Valparaiso, was a incredible night, we danced many hours Hhahah !.

I remember one night we went out to buy and we meet a very nice group of Argentines who visited for the first time our countr , was very nice to make friends with people from another country.

This holiday was the best because it was a step change, we have many beautiful pictures to remember these awesome holidays

My dream place

 Hi Everybody!!!

This is a new semester!!! today I am going to talk about my dream country!
I would like to visit Perú, because this country has a wonderful landscapes, Perú has a beautiful nature.
Perú is a country located in the south america, this country has a diverse culture,  the official language  of Perú is the Spanish, but some peruvian speak indigenous languages, for example Quechua. The most visit places are the capital of Perú ( Lima), Cuzco, because  Cuzco is  the historic center of this country and the ruins of Machu Pichu
I would like to vist  The majestic ruins of Machu Pichu, because  this place is the real paradise, in my opinion its nature is awesome.
What I particulary like  about this country is its variaty of landscapes from deserts  to the dense jungle also I love the history of this country and the majestic Inca civilization.
I would like to visit this place only to know its majestic nature not to study or work
In my opinion Perú is a country that we must visit because is wonders of the world!!!
